Previously, the customers would know this restaurant as noodle and Khao Nha Kai (rice with chicken stew) at Soi 2. Currently, there are 2 branches at Siam Sqaure Soi 7 (and/or 11 – moved from Soi 2), which run by the sister, and RCA, which run by the brother. Ros Dee Ded (So Good Taste!) is the restaurant where you can choose to eat either the rice or the noodle thanks to their mother who can create the best recipe for both rice and noodle menus.

According to its restaurant name, if you try their noodle (can choose with beef or pork) and filled with their hot and spicy sauce (prik nam som in Thai), you will have no doubt why Rod Dee Ded become the restaurant name. You cannot call it something else! Nevertheless, do not stop yourself to eat just the noodle here. Once you try their Khao Nha Kai and/or Khao Nue Aob (rice with beef stew), you will make yourself come back here again and again. With a variety of menus together with a small portion of each dish, the owner can make sure you can eat more than one dish at a time.

“Ros Dee Ded (Siam Square Branch)”

I've been eating here since high school and hanging around Siam Square. It's amazing that the tastes haven't changed for over 10 years. I've never had the rice with beef stew but I had the Beef noodle and Rice with Chicken Stew. * I'm a small person and i need 2 portions of food here to fill up!

The Beef Noodle: Comes in an oval shape bowl with beef and / or beef meatballs, some shredded lettuce and bean sprouts. The best noodle to have with it is Sen Lek, the thin white (vermicelli like) noodles. The soup is a bit spicy when they put in their sauce, so if you can't take hot tell them "Mai Ped".

Rice with Chicken Stew: The chicken stew is a thick gravy with a soy saucy feel to it. Not very sweet which is good, but a little bland for me because i like my food a little spicy so i chew on those big chillies which comes with the stew. The Chicken itself is tender without feeling overcooked and the gravy has a chicken soup taste to it, not as if they threw in rice starch to soy sauce water.

Overall, it's cheap and great tasting. I'll try to go the the Rca Branch but i doubt it would be any different. Remember, order 2 bowls of anything because it isn't enough!
