I first visited Anotai after hearing various friends talk about the wonderful dishes that is serves up. I ordered a few staff recommended dishes such as the Miso Salad, Nori Wrapped Tofu with Wasabi Mayo and Stir Fried Sayote with Bean Paste. Having tried the dishes, they were definitely unique, but for some reason the flavors just weren't in alignment as some dishes were to sweet; some too salty. The highlight of my visit was the dessert section. A wide selection of scones such as Prune and Zest, Rose Peddle, Butter Pea, Green Tea and Red Bean among others-I tried them all and what a treat. The Peanut Butter and Oatmeal cookie was also very good and resisted the temptation of ordering the Pumpkin cake as will save that for next time. Will definitely be visiting again and hope that the main meal is as good as the dessert.
