From a banker to a bakery shop owner to a restaurant owner, Khun Patum, leaving her banking career, has owned her Patum Cake shop since 1969. She started with only the bakery shop in the beginning and later on expanded her menus to include main courses and desserts as well. She has come up with different recipes of food, bakery and dessert on her own. Sometimes from baking and cooking classes. Sometimes from her trial and error. She mainly gets influence on the baking and cooking from her mother as well as from her grandmother who both loved in baking Thai traditional desserts before when she was the great chef assistant at that time.

The highly recommended dishes here would be the traditional dishes like Kanom Jeen Nam Prik Poo (Thai spaghetti with crabmeat in chili paste), Pan Clib Plaa (Baked fish wrapped with flour), and Kanom Pak Kaad (Fried flour with pork and bean sprouts). Also, custard apple in fresh milk is so delicious to end your meal. Noted that her secret recipe of this dessert is the way to take out every seeds of custard apple before blending the only meat of custard apple as ice cream. And, it is the perfect match with fresh milk.
